[INDIE] For the second year in a row, Rapids Theatre brings Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker, better known as USS back to Niagara Falls for a special holiday show. The Toronto-based band has the uncanny ability to combine electronic jungle beats with alternative rock in a way that kind of boggles the mind. They’ve proven their ability to successfully pull off this musical experiment on their 2009 full length, Questimation, and several EPs, including their latest, 2014’s Advanced Basics. When they come to the Rapids Theatre on Friday, December 18, they’ll bring along fellow Canadians, Hollerado, an indie rock band that has been steadily gaining popularity as support for notable acts like Jack White and the Flaming Lips. Ticket holders who bring a new, unwrapped toy to the show with a value of at least $10 will receive access to an exclusive afterparty featuring a live DJ set from Jason “Human Kebab” Parsons of USS.
