If you’re thinking about checking out The Lubberland National Dance Company’s presentation of Bombing Instead of Negotiating tonight at 8pm at the Foundry but were unsure whether the show would still go on, don’t worry; the performance is going on as scheduled. The dance performance, a Bread & Puppet production, will act as a revolt against what they call “unbearable news of circumstance,” such as the latest assault on the middle east by the U.S. and Canada. The dance company, which formed 10 years ago, uses dance as a tool to express traditional truth-relationships, shape public opinion, and interpret modern news events. Lubberland National Dance Company invites guests to come by and enjoy the show and even join in as a performer.
