[ARTS, CRAFTS, MUSIC] We can’t say it often enough: Diverting as many holiday spending dollars as possible from big box stores into the sustainable waters of our local artisans has an enormous impact on our local economy. So to hell with Black Friday and come out on Saturday, November 26 for the Women’s Gifts fair that for an amazing 20 years has celebrated women’s creativity with craft, art, and jewelry vendors, and live music on the stage of Asbury Hall. It’s a warm, inviting event that will use every inch of the venue: the main floor for vendors, the stage for musicians, the balconies for extra seating, and the basement’s 9th Ward as a lounge, where fest-goers can enjoy coffee, food, and beer supplied by the Buffalo Beer Goddesses, and also get henna tattoos! The fair will be open from 10am until 4pm.
