[ELECTRONIC/DANCE] Trancegiving, the annual night of trance music at Lift Night Club, has become a tradition. Last year we had Super8 & Tab, this year we get Aly & Fila. The trance music duo hailing from Cairo, Egypt have in the past been ranked by Mixmag as one of the top 100 DJs in the world. Active since 2003, the duo have, of course, played some of the most recognizable EDM festivals in the world—Ultra, Tomorrowland, Electric Daisy Carnival—but it’s their more intimate club shows that stand out for fans. The pair has released a string of full-length albums since 2010, too, and their radio show, Future Sound of Egypt, has yielded several corresponding compilations. Their current tour brings the duo to far-off places such as Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Bangkok, Thailand, but not before they make a stop in Buffalo at Lift Nightclub, the night before Thanksgiving, Wednesday, November 23.
