[POP] If you’ve ever wondered who usually tops lists of the best ukulele players in the world, it’s Jake Shimabukuro. The 40-year-old ukulele virtuoso has gone viral performing songs like “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” but he’s also got albums upon albums’ worth of original material. As far as ukulele players go, Shimabukuro is as mainstream as they get, having performed at major festivals like Bonnaroo and SXSW. He’s also performed on several of the major late-night TV shows. Shimabukuro comes to Kleinhans Music Hall on Thursday, November 17.
