[ELECTRONIC] Part electronic composer, part wannabe spiritual guru, Parallax mixes his music with a bizarre stage persona that strives to create a sense of communal unity at his gigs (hard to achieve in a world where taking a good selfie at a show is more important than actually listening to the music being played). If it seems a little on the emo side in spirit, maybe that’s because it is, but Parallax is one of a kind and his light show is pretty cool. Our own Hooked on Casiophonics will open with some electro-hip-hop shenanigans of their own. Wednesday, November 11 at Dreamland.
