Peter Wolf and the Midnight Travelers

[ROCK] Swivel-legged former J. Geils Band frontman Peter Wolf lands in Buffalo this Friday, November 11 at Tralf Music Hall in support of his latest solo offering, A Cure for Loneliness (Concord).  It’s a rootsy affair, but Wolf’s trademark swagger is fully intact, even through a bluegrass remake of his FM-staple, “Love Stinks.” Rolling Stone said his rendition of Moe Bandy’s “It Was Always So Easy To Find An Unhappy Woman (“Till I Started Looking for Mine),” hits, “right in the sweet spot where Nashville meets the Bronx.”
