Bob Moses

[ELECTRONIC/DANCE] With their highly polished album Days Gone By, the live band duo known as Bob Moses—childhood friends Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance—proves they have successfully melded mainstream pop sensibilities with underground dance music ideals. This has led them to mainstage festival appearances at festivals as varied as Lollapalooza and Movement Festival. Days Gone By, which was released in 2015 and consists of the band’s first two EPs—Hands to Hold and Far from the Tree—marked their debut on Domino Records. The album melds together rock music, trance, electro, and techno, all frosted over with a pop sheen that almost guarantees mainstream success. It will certainly be interesting to see where this band goes from here as their journey could easily take them in either direction—toward mass appeal or underground glory. They come to the Waiting Room on Monday, November 7 for a special show presented by After Dark and Alternative Buffalo 107.7 as part of their You Saw Them First series—which means that if you get your tickets early enough, they’re only $1.07. They’ll be joined by Buffalo’s Humble Braggers, Brat’Ya, and Eyes Everywhere

$1.07-$10
