[PUNK] The desert dwelling punk band AJJ will be coming to Waiting Room this Saturday to entertain us with their bitter tales of hopelessness, despair and weak, but assuring, optimism in this “garbage world.” Formerly known as Andrew Jackson Jihad, the band is showcasing their latest album, The Bible 2, which isn’t too far off from their previous stuff but the lyrics are a bit heavier, more personal. Leadman Sean Bonnette sings about distancing himself from the image of his youth, which is most notably emphasized with the recent change in their band name, laments about our culture of waste, and exonerates Linda Ronstadt.
