[TRIBUTE] While there are a number of bands touring the material spawned from Peter Gabriel’s tenure with Genesis, there seem to be far fewer focused on his solo work. The Security Project takes that distinction one step further and sticks to Gabriel’s early solo work—presumably the first three ‘untitled’ albums. That may be changing however, since the band is welcoming singer-songwriter Happy Rhodes into its roster. Already a powerhouse of session players with production legend/multi-instrumentalist Jerry Marotta at the helm, Rhodes ups the ante with a four-octave vocal range and an inherent knowledge of Gabriel’s catalog that might expand The Security Project’s repertoire. It sounds impossible for this to be anything less than stellar, Thursday, October 27 at the Tralf Music Hall.
