[JAM] Philadelphia’s electronic jam band Lotus will come to the Town Ballroom on Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29 to showcase their latest album, Eat the Light. This album is electric. With 10 bubbly songs and contagious dance beats for them all, Eat the Light moves in a new direction and its success is guaranteed. The vocals are catchy and the album has appearances from an awesome range of guests including Johnny Fissinger, Oriel Poole and Steve Yutzy-Burkey. Part indie, part electronic, and part rock, the band’s latest album is feel good, coast-driving music with a subtle hint of technological paranoia. The five-piece band has made a name for themselves as a multi-genre sound primarily through word of mouth and an intense, year round performance schedule. Lotus has been booked across the board, appearing at rock concerts, festivals, and electronic shows, and their shows are often recorded by ameatur engineers to widen their fan base online.
