[FOOD] No offense to the fine purveyors who are participating in this event, the real star of the show is the space. There’s a fresh air being blown into a space that has been the site of numerous failed restaurants in the form a new public market with multiple vendors called EXPO, a possibly transformative development in the Theater District. This Thursday, you’ll get a sneak peak and get to sample the food and drinks from City Dining Cards members Cream & Sugar Cafe, Hydraulic Hearth, Resurgence Brewery, Essex St. Pub, Gypsy Parlor, DBGB, Curly’s Grille, Public Espresso, Breadhive, and more. Admission is free, but food items will be available vis-à-vis a ticket system, and those interested are encouraged to RSVP electronically.
