Ryan tip-toes into rock and roll with intelligent and tasteful hollering about greed, despair, and capitalism with his latest release, Boxers, which has gained the support of Lucinda Williams and the like. McDermott’s fan-based has reached into the literary world, gaining the praise of Stephen King himself who has stated that “McDermott is one of the best songwriters in the world and possibly the greatest undiscovered rock n roll talent of the last 20 years.”
