When I read the title of this event I thought the idea was to watch Dennis McKenna—a research pharmacologist and psychedelic proponent and brother of Terence McKenna—withering around on the ground after smoking DMT. But then I realized he wouldn’t literally be ON DMT, but instead SPEAKING on DMT, the powerful psychedelic drug that’s also found in the human brain, and the nature of consciousness. It is possible that he’ll be ON DMT too, but that part of the entertainment isn’t included in the cost of admission, which is only $3. The live broadcast of the webinar, fully titled Dennis McKenna on DMT: A Biospheric Catalyst for Conscious Evolution will be screened at Ashker’s Juice Bar this Saturday at 7pm.
