[JAM] Call it livetronica, electro-funk or—my personal fave—grilled cheese funk, but the G-Nome Project is basically a jam-band from Tel Aviv. And they’ve amassed a pretty decent following with their trusty blend of danceable riffs and improv passages, designed to get you moving, sweaty, off on a tangent and all blissed-out. It’s proven enough of a phenom that a documentary is being produced about the Israeli quartet, which remains a huge draw in their country while building their fan base here in the States. They’ll serve their patented grilled cheese special at Buffalo Iron Works on Tuesday, September 6 with local progressive electro-funk trio Sonder in the opening slot—it’s a pairing that makes plenty of sense.
