[FESTIVAL] Because St. Patrick’s Day weekend is never quite enough, there is the three-day Buffalo Irish Festival. This year the féile takes place at Buffalo Riverworks (on Kelly Island, no less) Friday, August 28 through Sunday, August 30. Headlining musical acts include Eileen Ivers, the Elders, the Dady Brothers, Seamus Kennedy, and the Killdares, among others. The festifal kicks off with a parade on Friday evening; there will be dancing, food and drink, and a shuttle bus that will carry revelers to and from the ample parking in the nearby Cobblestone District. Get your tickets presale at buffaloirish.com and save: $10 per day, $20 for a weekend pass. Otherwise it’s $15 per day at the door, kids 5-12 are $5.
