[AMERICANA] On his latest album, Hang Your Hopes on Crooked Nail, Americana artist Rod Picott worked with producer RS Field whose work with acts like Justin Townes Earle have helped take them to the next level. Picott, born in New England as the son of a welder, has been working on this for some years but with Field’s help, his latest album sounds as fresh as his 2001 debut, Tiger Tom Dixon’s Blues. Rod Picott comes to the Sportsmen’s Tavern on Wednesday, August 26.
