[JAZZ] It’s the last weekend in August and that means that Center Street in Lewiston will be jam-packed with four stages worth of smoldering jazz performed by world-class musicians for the Lewiston Jazz Festival. Renowned jazz pianist, Ron Corsaro, backed by the Upstate Express and featuring Laurie Bordonaro on vocals, will hold down the Main Stage on Friday. Poncho Sanchez and his Latin Jazz Band will headline on Saturday with their fiery medley of jazz, gritty soul music, and irresistible melodies and rhythms of the Latin and South American variety. In addition to grooving to some tasty jazz, visitors can also enjoy delicious food from the region’s finest chefs and a selection of wines from the Niagara Wine Trail. The festival also boasts activities like the Premiere Jewelry Show, Classic Car Show, and more. Events begin at 5pm on Friday, August 28 and noon on Saturday, August 29.
