[PUNK] After the tape leaked of Donald Trump discussing about sexually assaulting women by grabbing them by the pussy, a bunch of counter-slogans began popping up—one was “this pussy grabs back.” I guess you could say that would be the slogan behind Power Pussy Night, a night of all female fronted punk music at Milkie’s this Saturday, August 26. The line up includes grungy Brooklyn duo Sharkmuffin; Wildmoon, a bluesy indie rock band fronted by Francie Moon of New Jersey; Medusa, an electronic music act that may or may not hail from Novosibirsk, Russia, and six piece Buffalo-based punk band Sofa Queenz. They’ll be joined by DJ Electric Hamburger, who will spin records from her all vinyl collection. Food from chef Kujo Kumaro will be available as well. A portion of the proceeds will go to Planned Parenthood. Also, no scumbags allowed.
