Electronic jam band Lotus is among this weekend's headliners at the Night Lights Music Festival.

Night Lights Music Festival

[FESTIVAL] Another massive summer jam band festival is right around the corner. The annual Night Lights Music Festival is set to kick off this Thursday, August 23 and run until Saturday, August 25 at the Heron festival site in Sherman. If the recent Cobblestone Live festival only made your taste for jam bands stronger, or maybe you’re still trying to recover from the devastating last-minute cancellation of Phish’s Curveball Festival, which was supposed to happen last weekend in Watkins Glen, then Night Lights will most certainly scratch that itch. Headliners for the three-day festival include electronic jam band Lotus, Buffalo’s own Aqueous—who will lay down two sets—funky Denver-based seven-piece the Motet, and a Pink Floyd tribute from members of Moe, Aqueous, Dopapod, and Mungion. That’s only a fraction of the massive line upthat Night Lights has to offer—expect a whole lot of Buffalo-based funk and jam bands and plenty of regional talent too.
