[DISCUSSION] In the wake of the recent deal with Iran that should keep one of the world’s most volatile actors from developing a nuclear weapon, local activists are gathering to remember last century’s mistakes that created the impetus for the US to negotiate with Iran. The BYO picnic will take place near the intersection of Parkside and Florence and will memorialize the millions of civilians who fell victim to 20th century global conflict. At 4:30pm, the assembled will then walk to the Buffalo History Museum for a 7pm presentation on Indigenous Peoples Day.
