[ELECTRONIC] Denver, Colorado’s Cop Circles is the electronic brainchild of keytar-wielding synth composer Luke Leavitt. He emulates the sort of funky oddities that could have gotten him signed to Sire in 1981; instead, he’s self-released a string of singles, EPs and remixes over the last two years that remain forever catchy while entertaining a wide range of electronic options. You can tell Leavitt’s a curious guy, always searching for new sounds, but he’ll keep you moving on your feet.
