[ROCK] On their latest self-titled album, Buffalo’s the Albrights moved from the stripped-back straight forward indie rock of their solid debut, Ask, Tell, to a more baroque-pop, Broadway-ready ragtime-rock sound, especially on songs like the album’s first single, “Soundwave.” The four-piece more recently released a live cover of Bob Dylan’s “Tangled Up in Blue,” featuring artist Billy Hough. 

Their more extravagant sound should be finely complimented when they take the stage with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra at the end of September, but first they’ll take the stage at the Elmwood Village Associations free weekly Picnic in the Parkway Concert on Tuesday, July 28. Dance troupe Foxy Diamondz open the show.
