[ELECTRONIC/DANCE] Husband and wife DJ duo Sleepy & Boo have become an anchor in the New York City underground scene. The duo originally populated the notable Manhattan Club, the Sullivan Room before its sudden closing in 2013 with crowds eager to take part in their Basic NYC parties, which often hosted top underground house and techno DJs. They quickly regathered themselves and reshaped their Basic NYC party from a residency at one club, to a roving dance party that takes place in a rotating selection of intimate clubs, warehouses, loft, and art spaces. Now on tour, the duo will bring the party to Sky Bar on Friday, July 22 as part of the bar’s weekly rooftop DJ series presented by Factory Nightlife. Buffalo mainstay Chuck Abbott will spin in support.
