[TALK] When Bernie Sanders first threw his hat into the 2016 presidential race, his odds for survival were comparable to that of a Hillary Clinton email from her secretary of state days. But thanks to a groundswell of individual donations, an army of engaged volunteers, and savvy use of social media, the senior senator from Vermont is mounting a credible challenge. Temple University professor and author Joseph Schwartz will be in town on Saturday, July 18 to discuss Sanders’s upstart campaign with a talk entitled ”The Sanders Campaign and the Future of the US Left.”
