[ART] Calling all fabric hobbyists: UB Art Galleries has commissioned the Brooklyn-based sculptor Amanda Browder to weave, sew, and stitch a large-scale piece that will be installed on the outside of the Anderson Gallery in September before being secured away from the inclemency of the fall as a part of UB’s Splitting Light exhibition. Both fabric and volunteers are being sought to help trim, pin, and sew, with no experience needed. Sewing days will begin Wednesday, July 8, 12-5pm, and continue on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 10am-4pm, at the Anderson Gallery in University Heights.
