[ROCK] California’s Seahaven will be playing at the Waiting Room on Friday, July 1. The Los Angeles-based indie group came out with their latest album Winter Forever, back in 2011 but expect them to play some cuts from their first release, Ghost, and the new but slightly more poppy single, “Find a Way.” Citing inspirations such as Crime in Stereo and Jawbreaker, Seahaven paradoxically relies on somber but hopeful lyrics set to classic pop punk instrumentals with Kyle Soto and James Phillips leading on vocals. Local bands The Traditional, Casey Bolles, and Kill The Clock open the show.
