[INDIE] Wearing a blazer and t-shirt, sweat pouring down his forehead, a pair of red headphones  wrapped around his pony-tailed hair, paris_monster’s Josh Dion simultaneously plays drums, keyboards, and sings, as his musical partner Geoff Kraly calmly lays down a low key bassline. It might be appropriate that the band’s name resembles a Reddit username more than a band name, as they’re the experimental type, dipping into soul, electronics, and indie rock, sometimes within the same track. It’s hard to accuse the band of being anything but passionate, as Dion belts out emotional freak-soul numbers alongside Kraly, who plays the part of guitarist and bassist at once, strumming out fuzzy bass chords in front of a universe of pedals and switches. The duo comes to Buffalo for a show at Nietzsche’s in Allentown on Thursday, June 21 with support from Spacey Stacey and Rabbit Jaw, presented by Sunbeam Entertainment.
