[JAZZ] The annual happy hour series, Party on the Portico, presented by M&T Bank and the Buffalo History Museum kicks off this Friday, June 17. The first edition will feature dixieland dream band Fredtown Stompers, who will play on the portico of the Buffalo History Museum. The six-piece plus band plays a mixture of classic vintage jazz tunes from the early 1900s through the 1930s. In addition to the outdoor live music the event features food and drink, door prize drawings, free mini-tours of the History Museum, and a great view of mirror lake. The Party on the Portico happens each third Friday of the month throughout the summer. Future dates include music by The Shadows and The Willies. This event is for guests age 21 or over.
