[BLUES] Comprised partially of three siblings and three college friends, Durham NC’s Delta Rae is a study in winning contrasts: male/female vocals and viewpoints; slick, modern production with a clear penchant for classic influences; the comfort and familiarity of the past with the uncertainty and anxiety of the future. With a vague musical resemblance to the classic Fleetwood Mac lineup, the co-ed six piece has generated a string of buzz-worthy singles from its pair of Warner Bros. albums, channeling everyone from Tom Petty to Jay Z and appearing on The Tonight Show twice along the way. Now in between releases, Delta Rae heads out on tour for the summer, stopping at the Tralf Music Hall on Tuesday, June 21.
