[DUBSTEP] I guess it was inevitable that these two dubstep bass-beasts named after prehistoric creatures would eventually come together. Bass power-house Megalodon and glitch-hop three piece Midnight Tyrannosaurs have joined forces for the perfectly titled Jurassic Tour, which comes through Buffalo for a show at the Waiting Room on Thursday, May 25. Signed to Never Say Die Records, whose roster also includes Zomboy, Skism, and others, Megalodon’s relentless dubstep sounds have brought him to collaborations with many top tier bass music names like Skrillex and Skream. Meanwhile, Midnight Tyrannosaurs is steadily building a reputation for raw bass sounds and inserting all of the dinosaur puns they can think of into their bio. The Florida-based group have also opened for many Buffalo favorites such as Excision and Cookie Monsta. If you’re looking for a huge pre-Memorial Day blast, this is the one.
