[ROCK] They call her the Southern Fireball, and she’s catching fire in the roots rock scene with a wild sound fueled by roaring vocals and an explosive classic rock magnetism. Nikki Hill took the throne as the new Queen of Rock with her debut release, Here’s Nikki Hill. The title is a nod to Little Richard’s 1957 debut, Here’s Little Richard. The album itself is undeniably fresh, yet dripping with 1950s rock and soul, like “Strapped To The Beat”—a swing arrangement with a trumpet lead, and Hill’s smoldering howl.
