[TALK] After spending years splitting time between the home and away field, doing work for publications and companies as disparate as National Geographic, the United Nations, Land O’ Lakes, the New York Times, and of course The Public, photojournalist Brendan Bannon has turned the lens inward and his home landscape of Western New York during an artist residency at Hilbert College. On Thursday, Bannon will share some of his insights gleaned from his international travel and multiple assignments, some of the magic that makes an image compelling without betraying a subjects inner, mysterious truth.
