[FASHION] For the Buffalo State Fashion and Textile department, this edition of their annual fashion show, Runway, is a big one. It’s the 10th anniversary of the event and this year it will be held on campus, at the Buffalo State Sports Arena. It’s an opportunity for the department to reflect back on their last decade of work and look forward to their next: the theme is Remember/Imagine. “This is the largest show my students and I have ever produced. Game on! We are beyond excited,” says Erin Habes of Buffalo State’s Fashion department. The students in the department are challenged to produce a “professional-level” fashion show for Runway that features designs by students, faculty, and alumni. It’s a learning experience for the students that’s judged by a panel of experts including this year’s guest judge Ade Samuel, but it’s also an entertaining spectacle for the crowd, with music, models, and more. Runway 10 takes place this Saturday, April 22.
