[AMERICANA] Eilen Jewel has spent much of her professional career as part of the Western MA-based Signature Sounds stable, but she hails from Boise, Idaho, where she returned to reside in 2015. The relocation was largely the topic for her latest, Sundown Over Ghost Town, which American Songwriter’s Hal Horowitz hailed as  ”…slightly restrained, beautifully crafted and enticing,” while also asserting that the disc, “…proves she remains one of Americana’s most intriguing, creative and idiosyncratic voices.” Hear for yourself when Jewel returns to Sportsmen’s Tavern on Sunday, April 23 for an early 4pm gig.
