[ROCK] The Spin Doctors were perhaps the most 1990s band of the 1990s, with music videos full of colorful tints, tilted camera angles, jean shorts, and tank tops. In the middle of it all, clutching the microphone, was the bearded and shaggy haired singer, Chris Barron. If you find yourself nostalgic for the whacky guitar riffs and feel-good sounds of the Spin Doctors then you’re in luck because Duke’s Bohemian Grove Bar in Allentown is bringing Barron back out from under whatever Kryptonite-colored rock he’s been hiding under for their latest edition of Throwback Thursdays, this Thursday, March 12. Barron will begin with a solo acoustic set before going all out with backing band The Duke Doctors: Joey Dynomite, Geno McManus, Jeff Schaller, and Brian Burd. Drop D opens the show, and Sike closes it out.
