[ELECTRONIC/DANCE] If they weren’t the headlining act, the bouncers wouldn’t let the guys from Louis the Child into the club. The successful DJ duo from Chicago, formed in 2013, are not old enough to order an adult beverage from the bar, though that doesn’t stop them from drawing thousands of electronic dance music fans to their sold-out shows across the country. Though they’re young, that doesn’t preclude Robert Hauldren and Frederic Kennett from masterfully crafting catchy, sleek electronic pop tunes—you’ve probably heard their hit “It’s Strange,” which features K. Flay (who sold out the Waiting Room just last week) or last year’s “Weekend” featuring Icona Pop in any number of DJ mixes. Their first headlining tour will bring the duo to the Rapids Theatre in Niagara Falls for a show this Saturday, March 11, with support from like-minded pop producers Imad Royal and Saint Wknd.
