[FUNK] Any act that’s sustained an entertainment career for more than 60 years (yup, you read that right) is bound to have had some ups and downs. In the case of Ohio’s Isley Brothers, it’s been a bumpier ride than average. But that hasn’t stopped original founding member Ronald Isley and younger brother Ernie from carrying on the family name with a road show that pulls into the Seneca Niagara Casino on Saturday, March 11. Expect a set that focuses mainly on the second coming of their success in the early 1970s (“That Lady,” “Summer Breeze,” “Footsteps in the Dark,” “For the Love of You,” etc.) but still also covers their doo-wop vocal group beginnings.
