[HIP HOP] Truly a unique Buffalonian concoction, Radarada presents as hip-hop on the surface but with jazz at the foundation. Ana Vafai’s lilting vocals smoothe the edges on an already appealing blend of easily-digestible grooves and fun samples, flanked by a pair of male emcee’s delivering the rhymes. Sometimes verging on a dreamy, easy listening cloud, Radarada’s debut First Edition sounds like hip hop that doesn’t take itself too seriously but never gives in to the wave of novelty crap currently polluting commercial airwaves.
