[DANCE] Recognized as one of Buffalo’s most innovative dance companies, never failing to astonish and inspire the community and beyond with their athleticism and artistry, Lehrer Dance will be presenting “An American Siddhartha: The Way Within” with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. While both creative parties have joined forces in the past, this time they’re offering up a modern re-telling of Herman Hesse’s classic novel about self-discovery, “Siddhartha.” The classical works of Bach, Mozart, Schoenberg, and Brahms will accompany this piece, with BPO Music Director JoAnn Falletta set to conduct. This inventive blend of dance and orchestra, which is part of Lehrer Dance’s highly anticipated 10th Anniversary Season, takes place at UB Center of the Arts on Friday, February 24 at 7:30pm.
