A by-product of the UB Rugby Team, Proles only began playing together last fall, but their frayed, punk-edged four-song demo is already up and streaming on bandcamp. Led by singer / guitarist Chelsea O’Donnell, Wolf—now a trio—recently released the single, “Infectious,” which reveals pop smarts tempered by a scrappy vibe that suits O’Donnell’s throaty pipes. An EP will follow on March 21, entitled “It’s Electric.” Catch these evolving local newcomers at Buffalo Iron Works on Thursday, January 29.
