[DANCE] Buffalo area dancers, aerialists and musicians are teaming up to bring Space-Bar to the ALT Theatre on Saturday, January 24. The performance showcases each dancer’s individual contemporary dance style merged with dance trapeze, resulting in breathtakingly explorative works of movement art. Dancers taking part in the performance, directed by Phil Wackerfuss, include Aaron Water, Ashley Vita Verde, Erica Cope, Jess Moore, Laura Jean Castelluzzo and Monica Karwan. Arrow Real and Scott Slocum will kick the night off with live music at 6:30pm, while the dance portion begins at 7:30pm. There will also be a basket raffle, meet and greet with performers, along with refreshments served. Tickets are $20. Proceeds for this event go to benefit Mission Improvable: Presence in Motion. The event is co-sponsored by Pick of the Crop Dance, Buffalo CI Community & BCIJPG.
