[ART] Artist Maude White is one of those artists whose art is so unique you need only see one piece of her work once to identify all others in the future. White, who hails from Hudson Valley, New York uses cut paper to create her living, breathing pieces of art which make use of as much negative space as positive. Says the artist “When I cut paper, I feel as if I am peeling back the outer, superficial layer of our vision to reveal the secret space beneath.” Her show at Canisus College Library closes on Friday, January 23 with a special reception beginning at 5pm.
