[INDIE] Tokyo Police Club will be touching down at Waiting Room with their catchy brand of indie rock on Thursday, January 19. The boys from Newmarket, Ontario have been serenading audiences in Canada and the U.S. for many years, and now they’re returning to promote a pair of new EPs. Mellon Collie and the Infinite Radness, a title, obviously a play on the Smashing Pumpkins album from the mid-1990s, includes a Part One and Part Two. The first radio single off Part One is the upbeat and punchy “Not My Girl.” Part Two offers up the radio single “My House,” a real-talk, yet oddly optimistic ballad about the devastating moment you know a relationship is ending.
