[PERFORMANCE ART] You know, we all know, that a cabaret show is best taken in where the swells go to imbibe. In this case, it is at Allen Street Hardware, where impresario Mark Goldman (long, long late of the dear departed Calumet Arts Cafe) has booked a stellar duo: soprano Tiffany Du Mouchelle and pianist (and composer and maestro) Roland Martin, who will present an evening of songs made famous by the likes of Edith Piaf and Ute Lemper. Both these musicians enjoy reputations outside our little burg, but we’re not impressed by that anymore, are we? Come see the talent native to this city of yours. The pair play three shows: Wednesday, January 25 at 8pm, Saturday January 28 at 8pm, and Sunday, January 29 at 5pm.
