[ROCK] I wouldn’t call Davina Sowers and the Vagabonds a throwback act, necessarily—their original music has enough contemporary flair—but their influences are obvious, from Fats Domino to Janis Joplin. Frontwoman Davina has gained comparisons to Lady Gaga and Amy Winehouse, but the band also pride themselves on being able to cover music from the past 100 years in America.
