[INDIE] You might recognize Wren Williams as the bassist that plays with the Leones. Venom & Sugar is the title of his solo debut, which beings him to Babeville’s 9th Ward on Friday, January 6, with a backing band (Sons of Luther) comprising cousins. Also on hand will be newly minted local “supergroup” honey COMA and the female-fronted quartet Cooler, both of which are supporting new EPs. Shoegazey post-punk outfit Coral Collapse, who have a new single out called “New Age,” will also play.
