Braid, Knapsack, The Get Up Kids

Indie rock band Del Paxton has just released the first single from their upcoming full-length album All Day, Every Day, All NIght. The single, titled “Koolwink,” is an upbeat indie rock track with a nod to emo music and a catchy chorus. The single and record from the Buffalo-based band come courtesy of San Diego-based record label Topshelf Records.

Single:  “Home” and “All Quiet on the Western Front” by Dan Borodzik

 Recommended if you like:
Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger

Folk songwriter Dan Borodzik, known for his work in Folkfaces, released a pair of songs, “Home” and “All Quiet on the Western Front,” earlier this week. The latter is a slide-guitar-fueled bonfire song straight out the folk canon, while “Home” is a personal blues-folk tale.
