Taste of Culinary

[FOOD] The American Culinary Federation of Greater Buffalo will be holding their annual fundraiser this Sunday, in what is sure to be a tasty and informative day. Many of Buffalo’s best chefs, chef educators, and culinary professionals will be there as they promote culinary education, competition, and scholarship. Tickets are $30 per person, and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Chef and Child Foundation, an organization that fights against childhood obesity and seeks to educate children about nutrition.

Dumpster Cookies

[INDIE] Three piece performance art troupe Dumpster Cookies bring their unique entertainment experience to Sugar City this Monday, April 11. Citing a whole list of inspirations from punk music and cartoon monsters, to nightmares and fairy tales, Dumpster Cookies fuse these things to create an ambient soundscape with visuals, incredible costumes, and an overall stunning theatrical experience. Local artists Logan Locking and DUDES will be opening up for this all ages show.

Iration

[ROCK] Isla Vista, California rockers Iration bring their Hotting Up Spring tour to the Rapids Theatre this Thursday, April 7 for those ready to hear their original smooth rock/pop blend of reggae. With the mission statement “we’re all about luv,” Iration has been making waves with their recent album, 2015’s Hotting Up—featuring the lead single “Reelin’” which debuted at #1 on the iTunes reggae charts.

The Brewers Invitational

[BEER] Get read for a one-of-a-kind beer festival. The Brewer’s Invitational is different than your average beer festival because it will feature specialty, one-off brews from members of the Buffalo Niagara Brewers Association and 10 guest breweries. This gaurantees that you’ll have a chance to taste some new beers for the first (and maybe only) time. The event happens this Saturday, April 2 at Pettibones Grille in downtown Buffalo. Tickets are limited.
