All three floors of the Buffalo establishment will be filled with live music and techno from 9pm until 2:30am. According to Google "Frightgeist" the Most Popular Halloween Costumes in Buffalo Are...
Google recently launched a Halloween themed feature called Frightgeist. The web tool allows users to search the most popular Halloween costumes by city. To predict which costumes will be most popular, it analyzes Google searchs with the word “costume” in them. It’s pretty simple, but fun to search through.
Naturally, the first thing we did was click on the pale green dot that hovers over Western New York. Here are the results:

RIP Cory Wells, Buffalo native and lead singer of Three Dog Night
Very sad news today for fans of classic rock: Cory Wells, born on the East Side of Buffalo and one of the founders and lead singers of Three Dog Night, died last night in Dunkirk.
A statement from the band did not give a cause of death, noting only that Wells, who still performed regularly with Three Dog Night, had developed severe back pains in September. He was 74.
Of the three lead singers in the band, Wells had the comparatively gruff voice: he was in front on “Mama Told Me Not To Come,” “Eli’s Coming,” “Never Been To Spain,” and “Shambala.”

1. SAFE ACT: Not Dead
Earlier this week, the Federal Appeals Court for the 2nd Circuit upheld most of New York’s and Connecticut’s firearms statutes passed in the wake of the Sandy Hook massacre. Anti-gun control groups brought suit challenging them, and they now plan to appeal this partial defeat to the Supreme Court.
One might ask, what part of “shall not be infringed” does the 2nd Circuit not understand?
